You are Growing...

Dear Beautiful,

Life can be very challenging at times.  I want to remind you that through all of it, you are growing beautifully.  Don't allow the negatives of the world to get you down.  Sometimes, it's quite discouraging, but, when no one is around to encourage you, remember to encourage yourself.  Do whatever it takes to combat the negative with positive self talk.

Please always remember that you are beautiful.  Don't be discouraged, and don't ever give up!

Thank You GOD for New Beginnings...

Life is absolutely beautiful.  Every aspect of it is wonderful.  There are times when it seems to be at its ugliest, but, even in that moment there is still beauty.  Wouldn't it be amazing if we were able to see the burst of energy associated with everything (life and death)?  Just imagine all the colors bursting with life every time someone is born, and equally bright when someone transitions to the new life that we call death.

Always search for the beauty in everything, even when life seems to hurt.  Take sometime to regroup, refocus and get centered.  We need each other.  We are born again with each new day.  Let us walk in the newness of the day together.  Remember, with eternal life, death doesn't exist.  Enjoy the journey!

Dear Thankful,

Sometimes, “Thank you” is all we need.  There are some people in this world who will not hear those words because of who they are living with.  There is a woman that is getting beat down (physically, mentally, and emotionally) because she cooked and it wasn’t pleasing to her husband or boyfriend.  There is a child who is living in that environment who has not heard those two beautiful words.  If he or she doesn’t break the vicious cycle they may never hear those words, or they may not know how to receive you when you genuinely say thank you.

So today, I am thanking you for being you.  I am thanking you for sharing your smile with me (yes, I received it in the spirit).  I am thanking you for sharing your joy.  I am thanking you for laughing.  I am thanking you for your tears.  I am thanking you for sharing yourself with me.  I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross and that HE has placed us in each other’s lives.  You are a blessing!

Dear Blessed One,

I thank God for you!  Because you are an awesome person and you are so needed.  The world needs you!  Do not believe the voice that is telling you that you are nothing or that you are useless.  Anytime you hear someone making any attempt to break your spirit, I pray that you would realize that it is only because you are a force to be reckoned with.  The “adversary” must make every attempt to weaken you, because if you are strong, how then, can you be defeated?  The Philistines didn’t fear Samson because he was weak; it was his strength that they feared.  Remember that, and walk with your head up, because you have the victory.

Do you know how much of a difference you make to the lives of those around you?  Well, you do make a difference.  Your smile, your kindness, your love, even the times when you may act a little silly to bring laughter to a soul makes a huge difference.  We really don’t know exactly how much of a difference we make, because kindness can touch someone in a life-changing way causing a trickle down effect.
